Throwing Snow - Sanctum
Sneaker Social Club records catch rapidly ascending star, Throwing Snow, for a very smart inaugural release. His moody, mesmerising Shadower was recently used to set the scene for Claude Vonstroke’s Resident Advisor mix, with its palette of crisp 808 percussion, tingling synth elevations and what we’re guessing is a hang-drum loop put to gorgeous use. The sense of tingly rave wonder soon turns darker with Sanctum as the 2-step beats slice with a shiftier agenda and grimy string loops sync with urgent bassline for a proper lost-in-it 3am moment.
